How the terminal, trading, trading wallets, bridge and launchpad work.

Start

What Mesa is

Mesa is the launchpad for builders on Elysium, an L2 for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, with a trading terminal and a bridge alongside it. Launch the token for what you're building, earn HYPE from its trading for life, and let holders verify everything on chain. Elysium is an Arbitrum Orbit chain that settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE as its gas token, so everything on Mesa is priced and paid in HYPE.

Mesa runs its own Elysium node and indexer, so the terminal's data comes straight from the chain rather than from a third party. Mesa never holds your funds: the bridge uses Elysium's official contracts, and trades go from your wallet straight to Uniswap v4.

Getting started

  1. Connect a wallet. Any browser wallet that supports custom networks works (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, OKX and others). Mesa adds the Elysium network to your wallet when it first needs it.
  2. Get HYPE onto Elysium. Bridge it from HyperEVM on the Bridge page. It arrives in about a minute.
  3. Trade. Open the Terminal, pick a token and buy or sell from the panel beside its chart.

Adding Elysium by hand

SettingValue
Network nameElysium
Chain ID99901
RPC URLhttps://rpc.mesa.cx
Currency symbolHYPE
Until Elysium's public sequencer opens on November 9, transactions on Elysium can't be sent to the chain directly. Mesa's RPC (rpc.mesa.cx) relays them through Elysium's official inbox on HyperEVM, so they take about a minute to land. After the sequencer opens they confirm in about a second.

Bridge

Deposits: HyperEVM to Elysium

A deposit moves HYPE from HyperEVM to the same address on Elysium, 1:1. Mesa adds no fee and holds nothing: the transaction goes through MesaBridge, a small contract with no owner that passes it straight to Elysium's official inbox in the same call. (It exists so explorers label it "Bridge" rather than "Create Retryable Ticket".)

What you'll see

  1. Sent on HyperEVM. Your transaction is confirmed.
  2. Arrived on Elysium. Elysium has credited the HYPE to your wallet, usually within a minute. You can use it now.
  3. Settled on HyperEVM. Elysium has recorded it in a batch on HyperEVM, which makes it final. This happens in the background and needs nothing from you.

Cost

You pay the amount plus a small bridge gas deposit (a fraction of a cent's worth of HYPE) that covers the deposit's execution on Elysium. Most of it is refunded to you on Elysium.

Withdrawals: Elysium to HyperEVM

Withdrawing takes two transactions and a wait, because that's how Arbitrum-style chains stay secure:

  1. Withdraw on Elysium. The HYPE leaves your Elysium balance.
  2. Challenge period, about 6 to 7 days. Elysium's state is posted to HyperEVM and can be disputed during this window. Mesa shows when your withdrawal becomes claimable.
  3. Claim on HyperEVM. One transaction pays the HYPE to your HyperEVM address. Anyone can send it for you, but it always pays you.
The bridge page remembers your transfers in this browser (the last 50). If you switch browsers, they won't show up there, but your funds are safe: a withdrawal can be claimed from any device once it's ready.

Terminal

The terminal

The Elysium tab lists every token on Elysium's Uniswap v4 pools, whichever launchpad made it: Mesa, Ascend, Kleos, BOXA, ElysPump, Volta, plain Uniswap v4, and smaller launchpads grouped as Other. It's built from Mesa's own node, so a launch shows up within seconds.

  • Filter by launchpad, or by your watchlist (the star on each row, kept in this browser).
  • Sort by trending (wallets trading real volume), volume, gainers, market cap, newest or trades, over 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day or 7 days, and search by name, ticker or address.
  • Prices are in HYPE, with US dollars alongside. Each row has a 24-hour price line.
  • Spam (wash-traded tokens and empty ones) is hidden from the list; searching a token's address still finds it.
  • Charts show market cap or price, from 1-minute to daily candles.

The HyperEVM tab shows HyperEVM's markets (trending, volume, gainers, new) with charts and trades, from Codex's data, served through Mesa's server.

The explorer

mesa.cx/explorer shows Elysium from Mesa's own node, written for people rather than developers. Every transaction, address and launch link on Mesa opens here, and wallets that added Elysium from Mesa link here too.

  • Transactions (mesa.cx/tx/…) lead with what happened, like "Bought 140K $MESA for 0.05 HYPE" or "Launched $KEY on Mesa", then the details, the call by name and every token transfer. A transaction that hasn't landed yet waits on the page and fills in when it does.
  • Bridge transactions show the HyperEVM side: who sent a deposit and, for deposits through Mesa's bridge, the HyperEVM transaction; for withdrawals, where the claim stands and about when it opens.
  • Addresses (mesa.cx/address/…) show the HYPE balance, token holdings, and every trade and launch. A token's address adds its supply, holders, launch settings and top holders.
  • Blocks (mesa.cx/block/…) and the front page, with the latest blocks, transactions, launches and $MESA burns. Known contracts are named.

Reading the forensics

Every Elysium token shows numbers that help you spot a rigged launch before you buy:

NumberWhat it meansWorth a second look when
Dev holdsShare of supply the wallet that created the pool still holds.Over 10%
BundleShare of supply bought in the launch block by wallets other than the creator: usually the creator's other wallets.Over 5%
Top 10Share of supply held by the 10 largest holders (pools and burn addresses excluded).Over 50%
HoldersWallets holding any of the token.Very few for its market cap
Creator launchesOther tokens the same wallet launched.A long list of dead tokens

Prices come from each trade. A swap that uses up a pool's liquidity can leave the pool's quoted price at an absurd value, so those trades are priced by what they actually paid instead.

Buying and selling

Trades go from your wallet to the Uniswap v4 router for the token's pool. Elysium has two Uniswap v4 pool managers (the official one, and ElysPump's own), each with its own router; Mesa picks the right one. Mesa adds no fee. The launchpad's own fees, if any, are part of the quote.

  • Buy: one transaction. You pay HYPE, so nothing needs approving.
  • Sell: an approval for exactly the amount you're selling (only if needed), then one transaction carrying a single-use signed permission (Permit2) for that amount. Mesa never asks for unlimited approvals.
  • Quotes ("you get ≈") come from Uniswap's own quoter, run against the live pool, and refresh every few seconds.
  • Slippage sets how far the price may move against you before the trade cancels instead. Default 5%; change it per trade or in Settings.
For now, tokens can be traded when they have a pool against native HYPE, which covers ElysPump and most launchpads.

Trading wallets

Trading wallets are hot wallets made in your browser, for one-click trades without a wallet popup each time. Turn them on in Settings. You can have up to 20 per browser.

How they're kept

  • Keys are created in your browser and never sent anywhere. Mesa's servers never see them.
  • With a passcode (recommended), keys are encrypted with it. A copy of your browser's data is useless without it. You type it once per tab: the wallets stay unlocked as you move between tokens and reload, and lock again after 15 minutes idle (change this under Settings, Auto-lock), when you lock them, or when the tab closes.
  • The site may only talk to Mesa's own servers and the public HyperEVM RPC: the browser refuses requests anywhere else. That makes it much harder for code that shouldn't be on the page to send a key out.
  • Without a passcode, the wallets unlock by themselves. Faster, but anything that can read your browser's data (malware, a bad extension) can use them. You can add a passcode later.

Funding and withdrawing

Fund a wallet with the Fund button (from your connected wallet), or send HYPE on Elysium straight to its address from anywhere. Withdraw all sends a wallet's whole balance back to your connected wallet.

Back up every key you put money in

If you clear your browser's data or lose the device, the only way back into a trading wallet is its private key. Use Back up key, hold to reveal it, and store it in a password manager.

Never share a private key. Whoever has it controls the wallet. Mesa will never ask for it, and no admin, moderator or "support" agent legitimately needs it. Don't paste it into chats, emails or AI tools, and don't reveal it while screen sharing or recording. Keep trading money in these wallets, not savings.

Multi-wallet trading

With Multi-wallet trading on in Settings, you can select several trading wallets and buy or sell from all of them at once. Each wallet trades in turn, using its own balance.

  • Delay between wallets: 0 to 5 seconds between one wallet's trade and the next.
  • Amount variance: each wallet's amount varies randomly by up to the percentage you pick.
  • Selling from several wallets uses a percentage of each wallet's balance.
Buys from several wallets around the same time are shown as a bundle in Mesa's own forensics, like anywhere else.

Launchpad

For builders

Mesa is built for projects that plan to be around next year: a protocol, a tool, a game, a community with a roadmap. Memes are welcome; everything below works for them too.

What a launch gives your project

  • Revenue in HYPE for life. Choose a fee from 1% to 10% at launch. 70% of it goes to your side on every buy and sell, in HYPE, so you never have to sell your own token to fund the work.
  • Payouts the team can see. Split your side across up to five wallets, pay every holder of 1,000,000+ tokens, or buy back and burn your token, all fixed at launch and enforced on chain.
  • Trust that doesn't depend on you. Liquidity is locked forever, the dev buy is declared in the launch transaction, and no contract can be upgraded.
  • Distribution. Every launch appears in the Mesa terminal within seconds, alongside every other launchpad on Elysium, with forensics that make a clean launch obvious.

Builder fees: earn on launches you power

An app that launches tokens through Mesa (a bot, a dApp, a community launcher) can name itself as the builder and take up to 1% on top of every trade of those tokens, for their whole life. It is set in the launch transaction, enforced by MesaHook, and recorded on chain with the launch.

Today you can send people to a launch link that sets it: mesa.cx/launch?builder=0xYourAddress&builderFee=0.5 (fee in percent, at most 1). The builder address claims its fees in HYPE.

Coming next: a builder dashboard and SDK for launch links, earnings and payouts; verified builder profiles; and shielded HYPE on Elysium.

For AI agents

Mesa ships one package for AI agents: an MCP server, a mesa command line and a TypeScript SDK. An agent can read every Elysium launchpad's market, quote and trade, launch a token and claim its fees. The quickest setup is to give your agent this line: Set up Mesa for this agent: https://mesa.cx/llms.txt

Add the MCP server

In any MCP client's config (Claude Desktop, Cursor and others):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mesa": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "--package=https://mesa.cx/agent/mesa-agent.tgz", "mesa-mcp"],
      "env": { "MESA_PRIVATE_KEY": "0x…", "MESA_MAX_HYPE": "0.5" }
    }
  }
}

Or from a shell: npx -y --package=https://mesa.cx/agent/mesa-agent.tgz mesa help. Leave out the key for read-only use.

ToolsWhat they do
list_tokens, get_tokenEvery launchpad's tokens, sorted; one token's price, holders, launch settings and forensics
get_trades, get_holders, get_candlesLatest trades, largest holders, price candles in HYPE
get_portfolio, get_balanceA wallet's holdings and profit and loss; HYPE and token balances
market_stats, mesa_burns, explain_transactionChain-wide activity, the $MESA burn, what a transaction did
quote, claimable_feesWhat a trade would return; fees waiting to be claimed
buy, sell, launch_token, claim_feesSpend from the agent's wallet. Need MESA_PRIVATE_KEY

Keeping an agent safe

  • Give it a new wallet made only for it, funded with what it may spend. Never your main wallet's key or seed phrase.
  • MESA_MAX_HYPE caps every buy, launch and dev buy (1 HYPE by default). Anything above it is refused.
  • Swaps are quoted first and carry a minimum output (MESA_SLIPPAGE_BPS, 3% by default). Sells approve exactly the amount and sign a single-use permission, never an unlimited approval.
  • Tokens can be named by ticker, like $MESA: it resolves to the most-held token with that ticker.

Building an app that launches tokens? Set MESA_BUILDER and MESA_BUILDER_FEE and every launch through your agent pays you a builder fee for life. Source and SDK docs: github.com/tcatm/mesa/agent.

How a launch works

A launch is one transaction from mesa.cx/launch. The first launch is $MESA; after it, anyone can launch.

  • Each launch mints a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. The token has no owner and can never mint more.
  • The entire supply goes into a single Uniswap v4 pool, starting at a market cap of about 30 HYPE.
  • Liquidity is locked forever. No one can remove it, Mesa included.
  • Name, ticker, image, description and links are saved on chain with the launch. Images are uploaded on the launch page and stored by Mesa under a permanent address.
  • The creator may make a dev buy of up to 10% of supply, at the starting price, in the same transaction. It is shown publicly on the token's page.
  • Optional launch protection: a sniper surcharge on buys (up to 30%, fading to zero over a window of up to 15 minutes) and a per-transaction buy cap (as low as 0.1% of supply) for the same window.
  • Nothing in Mesa's contracts can be upgraded.

Fees and $MESA

FeeRangeGoes to
Trading fee1% to 10% on every buy and sell, chosen at launch and fixed for life70% to the creator's side, 30% buys $MESA and burns it
Sniper surchargeOptional, up to 30%, fading to zero over the launch windowAll of it buys and burns $MESA, so creators gain nothing by sniping their own launch
Builder fee0% to 1% on top, when a token is launched through another appThe app it was launched through

Fees are taken in HYPE, on the HYPE side of each trade, never in the token, so no fee tokens are ever sold into the chart. Example: a 1 HYPE buy of a 1% token pays 0.007 HYPE to the creator's side and 0.003 HYPE to the $MESA burn.

The creator's side

At launch the creator sends their 70% to one fee wallet, or splits it between:

  • Up to five payout wallets, each claiming its share in HYPE.
  • Holders: paid to every wallet holding at least 1,000,000 tokens (0.1% of supply), by balance, at most every 10 minutes.
  • Buying back the token and burning it, in chunks of at most 0.25 HYPE, at most every 10 minutes.

The split is fixed at launch. A fee wallet can hand its share to a new address: it proposes the change and the new wallet accepts it.

$MESA

$MESA (0xD1Fe265a3A30177a0c5E74F535a2350b5f370197) is the first token launched on Mesa, with a 1% fee: 0.7% to its fee wallet and 0.3% to its own buyback and burn. Every token launched after it sends 30% of its fees to buying and burning $MESA. Its launch has a 10% sniper surcharge fading to zero over 5 seconds, and no buy cap.

Launches can also be paired with approved ERC-20 quote assets instead of HYPE. Adding one takes a public 3-day delay, and can't affect existing pools, fees or tokens.

RPC, API and status

ServiceWhat it is
rpc.mesa.cxMesa's Elysium RPC, from its own node. Until Nov 9 it also relays transactions through the official inbox.
api.mesa.cxThe terminal's data: /elysium for Elysium (Mesa's indexer), /hyperevm for HyperEVM (Codex).
status.mesa.cxLive health, sync and uptime of the node, RPC and terminal.
mesa.cx/explorerBlocks, transactions and addresses, explained.
mesa.cx/llms.txtMesa described for AI agents, with setup steps for the agent toolkit.

The RPC limits heavy use (reads per minute, block ranges for logs, relayed transactions per sender) so one user can't slow it down for everyone.

Risks

  • Most tokens go to zero. Anyone can launch one. Check the forensics before buying, and only trade what you can afford to lose.
  • Prices move fast. A trade fills within your slippage or cancels; before Nov 9, trades take about a minute to land.
  • Trading wallets are hot wallets. Keep only trading money in them, back up their keys, and never share a key.
  • Bridging relies on Elysium. Mesa uses Elysium's official bridge; its security is Elysium's.
  • Mesa will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, or ask you to send funds. Anyone who does is a scammer.

FAQ

Why does my wallet show my HYPE later than Mesa does?

Wallets refresh balances less often than Mesa. If Mesa shows a deposit as arrived, it's in your wallet; the wallet's number catches up.

Why is my withdrawal taking a week?

That's Elysium's challenge period, the safety window every Arbitrum-style chain has. Mesa shows when it's claimable.

Does Mesa take a fee on trades or bridging?

No. You pay network gas, and the launchpad's own fees where a token has them.

I cleared my browser. Where are my trading wallets?

Gone from this browser, but not their funds: import the backed-up key into any wallet app to get them back.

Where do I check a transaction?

Paste its hash into the search at mesa.cx/explorer. Every transaction link on Mesa goes there too.

Can my AI agent use Mesa?

Yes: give it Set up Mesa for this agent: https://mesa.cx/llms.txt. See For AI agents. Give it its own wallet, never yours.

Why can't I trade a token?

It may not have a pool against native HYPE yet. Those are coming.
