# Mesa > Mesa is the launchpad for builders on Elysium, the Hyperliquid L2 (chain ID 99901, gas token HYPE). It has a terminal that indexes every Elysium launchpad, a 1:1 bridge for HYPE, and an agent toolkit so AI agents can read markets, trade, launch tokens and claim fees. If a person asked you to set up Mesa, follow "Set up" below. Explain what each step does, and ask before anything that spends money. ## Set up Mesa ships one package with an MCP server, a `mesa` CLI and a TypeScript SDK. Node 20 or newer. 1. Add the MCP server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or any client that runs stdio servers): ```json { "mcpServers": { "mesa": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "--package=https://mesa.cx/agent/mesa-agent.tgz", "mesa-mcp"], "env": { "MESA_MAX_HYPE": "0.5" } } } } ``` In Claude Code: `claude mcp add mesa -- npx -y --package=https://mesa.cx/agent/mesa-agent.tgz mesa-mcp` 2. Read-only works now. To trade, launch or claim, the person must give you a private key for a NEW wallet made only for you, funded with what you may spend, as `MESA_PRIVATE_KEY` in the server's env. Never ask for, accept or use their main wallet's key or seed phrase. 3. Set `MESA_MAX_HYPE` to the most HYPE they allow per transaction (default 1). Mesa refuses anything above it. Or use the CLI from a shell: `npx -y --package=https://mesa.cx/agent/mesa-agent.tgz mesa help` ## Tools Read, no setup: - list_tokens: tokens on every Elysium launchpad (Mesa, Ascend, BOXA, Kleos, Volta, ElysPump, Uniswap v4), sorted by trending, volume, gainers, losers, mcap, new or trades. - get_token: price, market cap, volume, holders, launch settings and forensics (dev holdings, bundles, top holders) for one token. - get_trades, get_holders, get_candles: a token's latest trades, largest holders and OHLC candles (in HYPE). - get_portfolio, get_balance: a wallet's holdings and PnL; HYPE and token balances. - market_stats, mesa_burns: chain-wide activity per launchpad; the $MESA buyback and burn. - explain_transaction: what happened in a transaction. Human view: https://mesa.cx/tx/ - quote: what a buy or sell would return, before trading. - claimable_fees: HYPE fees waiting for a creator, payout or builder wallet. - get_updates: a token's build log, signed updates from its team. A sign of whether it's shipping. Write, needs MESA_PRIVATE_KEY, capped by MESA_MAX_HYPE: - buy: buy a token with HYPE. - sell: sell an amount, "all", or a percentage like "50%". - launch_token: launch a token on Mesa. - claim_fees: claim the wallet's HYPE fees. - post_update: post to a token's build log (what shipped, a demo, a repo), signed by the agent wallet. Only the token's creator or fee wallet can post. Free, no transaction. ## Rules for agents - Quote before every trade and tell the person the expected amount and the minimum they'll get. - Confirm amounts with the person before buying, selling or launching. Never spend more than they asked. - Name and ticker of a launched token can never change. Confirm them before launching. - Transactions land on Elysium about a minute after sending, until its public sequencer opens. The tools wait for them; give the person the mesa.cx/tx link. - Most tokens go to zero. Don't present a token as a sure thing. ## How a Mesa launch works - One transaction. 1,000,000,000 supply, all of it in one Uniswap v4 pool on the official PoolManager, starting at about 30 HYPE market cap. - Liquidity is locked forever. The token has no owner and no mint. Mesa's contracts can't be upgraded. - One trading fee for life, 1% to 10%, taken in HYPE. 70% goes to the creator's side (one wallet, or a split across up to five wallets, holders and buybacks); 30% buys $MESA and burns it. - Optional dev buy of up to 10% of supply at the starting price, declared in the launch transaction. - Optional sniper surcharge (up to 30%, fading to zero over up to 15 minutes; all of it burns $MESA) and a buy cap. - Builder fee: an app that launches tokens through Mesa can take up to 1% on top of every trade, for the token's life. With the toolkit, set MESA_BUILDER (address) and MESA_BUILDER_FEE (percent). ## Contracts (Elysium mainnet, chain 99901) - MesaHook: 0xE928F2336051cBD5B9D4531C25EaDd13f9A82aeC - BuybackBurner: 0xcCFe02C0a8Fec0c39683aE00b35A5d4560d8E7C1 - MesaTokenFactory: 0x4E395ad9938689BF6456d7f058f85c8842312f1E - $MESA: 0xD1Fe265a3A30177a0c5E74F535a2350b5f370197 - Uniswap v4 PoolManager: 0xE2e105d3F7209A9DA11f83cCf3E7398a753823F1 ## HTTP API (read-only, no key, JSON) Base: https://api.mesa.cx/elysium - GET /tokens?sort=trending&window=24h&limit=50&venue=Mesa&q=search - GET /tokens/
